Who creates the content
Product guides and update pages are prepared by the FortyPOS product, implementation and support team. Business guides are written to help Kenyan businesses understand sales, stock, customer, supplier, staff and reporting workflows.
Product review process
- 1. Scope: the writer defines the workflow and intended reader.
- 2. Product check: feature claims are compared with current web and mobile behaviour.
- 3. Boundary check: unsupported specialist functions and unconfirmed integrations are removed or clearly qualified.
- 4. Publication: the page receives a title, author, publication or update date and internal links.
- 5. Maintenance: material product changes trigger review and a new modified date.
Sources and external information
Product claims primarily come from the current FortyPOS application and official product configuration. When a guide discusses external regulations, payment providers, tax systems or third-party platforms, the page should link to an authoritative source and state when the information was checked.
Dates and update labels
A publication date shows when an article first went live. A modified or reviewed date changes only when the page receives a meaningful factual, product, structural or editorial review. Cosmetic spelling changes alone should not be presented as a major content update.
Customer stories and reviews
Testimonials and case studies must be attributable to a real customer and used with appropriate permission. We do not invent business names, quotations, ratings or performance results. Incentivised reviews and partner relationships must be labelled.
Corrections and disagreements
Material errors are corrected as soon as they are verified. Significant corrections should update the modified date and, where useful, include an explanatory note. Readers can report an issue using the support email.
Report a content issueCommercial and professional boundaries
FortyPOS content may explain how the software supports business records and workflows. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, medical or regulatory advice. Product links and trial calls-to-action are clearly connected to FortyPOS as the publisher.
